Fervent Confessions

The first poem that I ever wrote was in middle school and it was about grief. Writing it felt almost cathartic. And for me, putting words to paper was much more satisfying than talking about my feelings.
Because poetry gave me a creative outlet, where I could express myself without any judgement. And nothing was ever off limits.
